First 22 years of my life, lived in MI. The next 8 in AZ. I've wanted to live in AZ ever since I first visited at age 10. The heat is VERY bearable for me. My blood is like water. If I want cold, I want to drive to it via altitutude, not have it come to me. That being said, I've been...
Finished the book. I have to admit, I was a little bit let down by the book's ending. The movie's ending was a bit better IMHO. The rest, the book trumped the movie.
Having spent 22 years of my life living in MI, I can assuredly say the chilly water really isn't all that ;) The blue skies out my window 9 days out of 10 more than makes up for the lack of water. That being said, I may return for a long weekend for the 4th. We'll see.

Loved the movie, and the book is shaping up to be much better. Interesting twist on Boris Balkan in the book than his different role in the movie though. Almost half way through now.
That's idiotic. If anything, they should implement a sales tax (1% should do it), and require the sellers to collect it, and pay it as part of their listing fee.
The unanswered questions/implications, general "feeling" about the movie and such. I too am a great fan, and Club Dumas is on my reading list. I think it is a HIGHLY under-rated film.
Kids today are as dumb as they come mainly due to uncaring, working parents who view them as less important than scraping to maintain a McMansion, 2 SUVs, and a boat in the driveway.
Here in the Valley of the sun, we had a few MCM renouned designers that a small group of MCM lovers goes after house-wise. Beadle and Havers are what you are after for MCMs here. I don't think I could ever live in one, but I certainly appreciate them, and find them neat. I'm a Period Revival...
