    Question about fountain pens

I used one of the pens to send a card this weekend. It took it a bit to get flowing again, but got mostly there by the time the card was addressed inside and out. I'm leaning toward the paper, but the investigation continues.

    Question about fountain pens

The problem's shown up the most on this journal.

    Question about fountain pens

No, I lay them flat next to my journal (which I write in with them almost every night). One of them is a Cross cartridge ($35) and the other is a WoodTurningz ($55-$60)

    Fury

Something seems lmost a contradiction in terms in those words, but after reading the rest of your comment, I can see how those who quietly knew the war was lost [or had cold feet] could avoid fulfilling the mission with their suicide.

    Fury

You're probably right. One thing that bothers me about Hollywierd putting such scenes in movies is how they have a tendency to be taken as more widespread policy than isolated incidents.

    Question about fountain pens

Ya know; I think the paper of my journal must be coated with something that clogs up the pens. I can't get a week's worth of writing with them without them getting "intermittent" again. Wax?

Finally a little break in the forecast - no rain for a few days and not even much wind. Perfect for one of my straws! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

Great looking straws. It's been so windy and rainy here that I've not been able to wear mine since like 1st week of May.

What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

Stylish and comfortable looking hat, Alan. Also, that looks like an airplane interior in the background. Am I right?

    Question about fountain pens

Thanks. I'm trying another soak tonight, just to see if it'll make any difference. If not, I'll look into going "bulb shopping." Stand by for an update.

    Question about fountain pens

Well I'm 1 and 1. The Cross works like a charm after soaking it. The wood turned pen works worse now - as in doesn't flow ink at all! - after soaking. Hmmm....

    Question about fountain pens

Wow! I soaked the nib and lower barrel (they don't unscrew to separate or anything as i could determine) tonight in lukewarm water with just a drop or so of liquid laundry detergent for a couple of hours. I was amazed at the liquid ink that came out. Haven't bought a converter to flush it with...
