I used one of the pens to send a card this weekend. It took it a bit to get flowing again, but got mostly there by the time the card was addressed inside and out. I'm leaning toward the paper, but the investigation continues.

You're probably right. One thing that bothers me about Hollywierd putting such scenes in movies is how they have a tendency to be taken as more widespread policy than isolated incidents.
Ya know; I think the paper of my journal must be coated with something that clogs up the pens. I can't get a week's worth of writing with them without them getting "intermittent" again. Wax?
Finally a little break in the forecast - no rain for a few days and not even much wind. Perfect for one of my straws!

Well I'm 1 and 1. The Cross works like a charm after soaking it. The wood turned pen works worse now - as in doesn't flow ink at all! - after soaking. Hmmm....
Wow! I soaked the nib and lower barrel (they don't unscrew to separate or anything as i could determine) tonight in lukewarm water with just a drop or so of liquid laundry detergent for a couple of hours. I was amazed at the liquid ink that came out. Haven't bought a converter to flush it with...
