I have four pairs of ladies' gloves for sale. The long pair are Fownes sz. 6 1/2. The yellowish pair are deerskin sz. 6 1/2. The green pair are 6 1/2 and very fine leather. Richard III (1995)
One of my favorite adaptations of one of my favorite plays. Richard giving the opening monologue to Edward's face at the beginning is brilliant. Yes, it's the Wars of the Roses, but in this context imagine the Spanish Civil War had influenced England in the '30s. Love it.- Nick D

Welcome to the Lounge, Bespokewrinles. I second Patrick, especially the blue suit. That double breasted vest looks spot on, something that one doesn't see often in modern suits, even bespoke. -
Buttonholes on some men's shirts...
The two buttons that receive the most stress during wear are the collar and bottom buttons. The horizontal buttonhole will take the strain without distorting and allowing the button to come undone.- Nick D

Were double-breasted suits with vests once common?
Double breasted jacket with a single breasted vest was quite common before mid-century. You find them all the time in movies, photos, catalogs, and originals. Single breasted with a double breasted vest was relatively uncommon, though more frequent than today. -
