Well, I am continuing the great clean-out of 2009...this time in the sewing pattern collection. I have another box somewhere to list & will update as I find them - lots of spiffy 50s & 60s ones in there.
They are here on Etsy if you'd like to take a peek.
A sample:
Yes, I order from there all the time. Ken is currently in the middle of a big sale & restocking so I'm sure everything's a bit behind. I've never had a problem with them before.
Yep, I have a dozen or so of those type - in white, grey, black & peach. I find them utilitarian though and prefer the fancier celluloid or rhinestone ones. (Plus, I'm always worried I'll forget there's no cap on the end and bleed all over my hat.)
Thanks. Here's a pic of two I picked up at at swap meets:
The big green one is missing rhinestones on one side, but I love it. . .need to get around to fixing it. It's about 7" long.
And another I just bought:
Cleaned out the hat & shoe stash last month, going to start on the WWII collection this month. You can check out the auction here on ebay. Just needs the buttons switched out for Army issue.
Sizing: I would say a vintage 16 or 18. Betty's (my dressform) measurements are 36-28-38.
