Straw Gambler from Levine Hats that I picked up for a really good price. My other straw hats may have some competition with this one.

I watched through the end of season 2. I think I missed a few episodes of season 3 and decided it wasn't worth going back and watching them.
Honestly, that's how I've felt about most of the shows on AMC. Into the Badlands, Preacher, both Walking Dead shows, etc.
They just stop making me care...
After getting to the end of the episode, I was just sitting there like "um...that's it? What was the point of this episode?"
I really believe they could have ended the series at the next to last episode and it would have worked as a better send off.
Just got my new Knox in the mail. I think it takes care of the "I need a blue hat" section of my hat collection quite nicely.
I have very little information on the hat though, and trying to Google info on it hasn't garnered me much.

I know Glocks are supposed to be the be-all and end-all, but thus far I've not picked one up that I liked. I'm a firm believer that a pistol should be comfortable to the point its almost pleasant to hold and I've not run across one yet that fit that description.
Granted I've not tried them all...
I've not had to travel further than across town since I got back into wearing hats, and at that point I can just leave it on or toss it on the dash until I get to my destination, but I have a few longer trips coming up that already has me wondering the best way to travel with them.
My 1911 is a .45 and it shoots like a dream. The platform and weight just lends itself well to be fired, regardless of caliber. I much prefer shooting it to the 9mm that I usually carry throughout the day (I'm a little guy and a 1911 is hard to conceal carry).
I know they make a 1911 all the...
I had already finished shopping for stuff to make tacos when my daughter said something that reminded me it was Cinco de Mayo. I just accepted the cliché and enjoyed my tacos.
I realized I hadn't worn my Sterkowski since I first got it. I did a bit of reshaping on the crown and let it keep me company for the day

Not really a joke per se, but it made me laugh quite heartily.
My best friend is getting married next year and was asking for ideas on what kind of hat to wear with his tux. I Googled "tuxedo hat" and was not disappointed.

I know I said I was sticking to Panamas for the duration of the summer, but my Stetson Imperial seemed like the right thing to put on today

I have used my hand before. I took my fingers and pressed up from the inside while keeping my other hand in the outside to try to maintain the ridge I was creating. From there is just working your fingers inside and outside to get the ridge and overall shape you want.
When it has the desired...
I guess I use a method similar to that instruction pic. Start with a center dent then just sorta shape it with my hand until the dent is rounded. Once I have it roughly teardrop shaped, I use one of those Styrofoam heads to give it that bubble in the center

Wearing my black rimmed Panama. I'm so working on getting the crown and brim shaped the way I want, but I think this will be my go-to hat this summer.

I recently switched to 100% peanut butter. I look for labels with only peanuts on the ingredients list.
The flavor is very far removed from what people typically think of as peanut butter and actually took a little while for me to adjust to. It basically tastes just like peanuts, which is...
I'd probably grab my caribou Saxon. It's the first legitimate hat I ever bought, even though its been on my head the shortest amount of time. I save it for special occasions, and what occasion is more special than "the end"?
