    Mike is fine and making hats to fill all orders. I just talked to him and he has had an increase in business so his wait times are a bit longer. If you email him you should get a reply as he said he tries to look at all his emails every evening. No worries about him falling off the planet...

    Making regular ties into bow ties. Don't know if this has been posted here before, but I have tried this on several of my vintage ties and it works. You do have to choose the right tie for it to look good and the tie shouldn't taper too drastically. But it's a great way to get more mileage...

    Wow! Talk about a resurrection of the dead, I was surprised to see this thread come back to life. A lot has changed since 03. For one, I have a lot more hats now than I did then. And even though there were hats like that Adam which went pretty high for that time, and there were others too...
