    FS/FT Eastman '33 Werber Sportswear A-2

I'd be very interested if there was a price stated.

**NEWS EXTRA**Good Wear flying jackets take vintage authenticity to new heights!!

My size 38 Buzz Rough Wear A-2 fits exactly like my original size 38 Rough Wear (unlike my Eastman Rough Wear). I have noticed differences in some of their nylon jackets' cuts, but the Buzz A-2s seem pretty faithful pattern-wise. What modern concessions have you noticed in the Buzz A-2 patterns?

Highwayman arrived - urgent opinion needed

I once ordered an Aero grizzly in a size 38. It was 24 inches across the chest, had a 19 inch shoulder span, and 26 inch sleeves. I had to eat the $50 to ship it back to the UK but they did refund the cost of the jacket.

    "The Grizzly"

The grizzly in those photos was made by Toyo Enterprises of Japan who also manufacture the Buzz Rickson and Sugar Cane products. I have another Toyo grizzly (russet horsehide with yellow/gold mouton) made under their Style Eyes label. I should add that grizzly jackets attract nearly as many...

    Boxing films

Most of the movies previously mentioned are fairy tale type stories where the hero eventually becomes a top contender or champion. While I enjoyed many of these flicks (HERE COMES MR. JORDAN in particular) my favorite boxing film by far is John Huston's FAT CITY which portrays the unglamorous...

    GREAT AERO half belt thread.

My favorite Aero jacket is one they did for LVC about 3 or 4 years ago which was known as the Blue/Black. It was even shorter and trimmer than their 30's halfbelt and featured a waistband in the front. Much more distinctly 1930's than their other offerings. It's not among their regular catalog...

    Censorship rules.

I just had yet another thread deleted. It contained a link to an interesting story the BBC new website is running on their FRONT PAGE. Why?

    Jeans

Hi Salv, that isn't based on a specific Lee jacket tho they obviously borrowed the unique pocket shape and pleats from the single-pocket Cowboy models.

Review: Good Wear Bronco A-2, Steerhide

A period fit is kind of moot because you do not have the physique of a 22 year old WWII airman. The jacket is at least a size too small, perhaps two.

Hey - wanna have a laugh...? key words "Polo" & "A2"

RRL on Bleecker Street in Manhattan has a russet Cable Raincoat A-2 size 40 for sale, $1,200. Not outrageous for a real one and it's in superb condition. Tried it on last week.

    Reviving Forgotten Threads

Nearly every thread I start is deleted within hours. Many of my posts are edited or deleted. This is despite the strict use of clean language. This place is lousy with heavy-handed "bartending" and censorship to an Orwellian extreme. What a drag.
