Why is horsehide better than steerhide?
Really it all boils down to the tanner's abilities. I prefer to wear a horse's skin because he's (in my opinion) a nobler beast, not because steerhide is an inferior leather.- MudInYerEye

I had one years ago. No photos, not worth taking any. The fit was awful. It was cut all boxy like a modern overcoat, not like a 1920's mackinaw.
