Thing is, I really like that suit, it's still in great shape after nearly six years. The trousers would need to be taken in by about 11 inches and I suppose it's possible, but where would the back pockets end up? Would it be a fashion faux pas to eliminate the back pockets entirely? I never...
I was nervous the first time I drove a column shift, but the thing to remember it's an H pattern just like a floor shifter. The hardest thing to get used to while driving a 3-speed is only having one intermediate gear between bottom and top gear. On the other hand, cars with 3-speed manuals...
Well, with my neck, I've given up on finding vintage bow ties, but here's a new one from R. Hanauer. And go figure, it was easy to tie! It's a bit narrower and fits way better.
Yep, it's too wide (vertically) for the space under my chin, I need to find a narrower one. It's the only one I had lying around though. I have a red one on order from bowties.com and I'll give that a try.
What I want to find is a white piquet formal tie the right length, but they're had to find.
Best effort today, and boy are my arms tired. As any scientist will tell you, experimental data is not valid unless it's repeatable, hence the dubious expression on my face. I still say it's impossible.
I've seen petroglyphs on the Big Island, they're real enough. What I haven't seen on the show yet is rain, and you know those mountains on Oahu don't get that vibrant emerald green without a lot of rain :)
The show is fairly silly, but I watch it for the scenery. :)
