What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

That's a really nice find, Don. George VI died in 1952, so your date estimate is right.

Nice Lock & Co find, Marcel. For a well established, still in existence hat company, you don't often see them on the market. Well worth buying when one does come up.

What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

As always, some enviable hats, Eric. I particularly love the Melton along with its liner logo and the wonderful two-tone ribbon and bow treatment.

What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

What better choice for a Saturday soirée than my Dobbs Gay Blade  It's been a while since I've worn this one, but it's always a joy.

Nice looking Hufvud. Good choice of tie to go with it, too. Love the shape you created for the pocket square. That's one great ensemble for international necktie day!

Thank you Daniele for those links. So, its Cerizza not Cerviza. Thanks for deciphering the font.

    Italian brands hats

I can't quite make out the name of this one. Could it be Cerviza? Anyway, not a brand I recall seeing before despite it apparently being founded in 1902. The liner logo is hard to photo, but easier to decipher in hand. The middle box says "Cerviza", I think. Above that, at the top part of...

What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

Again a Borsalino, and yet again a kind gift from a fellow Lounger. This one from our dear Dutch enabler. Thanks Stefan for adding this one to the Delion, my friend.

    Post New Hats Here!

I'm having trouble reading this one. Possibly "Cerviza"? Not one I've heard of before. Established in 1902 according to the sweat label. A Monza company according to the liner logo. It's not easy to photo, but easier to decipher in hand. I'll post more in the Italian Brands Hats thread...

What hat are you waiting for today?

Thanks Jim. It's seen better days, but it's not at all bad. A bit of steam and tlc, it should be okay to go. I always enjoy finding good unknown hat brands. A real Dalton would have been better though

What hat are you waiting for today?

You're on the ball Jim. This Dalton was apparently established in London in 1880. To paraphrase Star Trek: it's a Dalton Jim, but not as we know it. I couldn't find anything about this company. Perhaps they were more sellers of hats than makers. Døring was a well known fur and hat shop in...
