When I find a suit I like at the goodwill, I try on the jacket to see if it fits and is worth taking to the changing room for closer investigation and a full rig out.

Don't forget to do a few dry runs, helps the nerves considerably. I did a public speaking course a few years ago, and was told that caffeine constricts your larynx a bit and doesn't help if you drink it prior to presenting.

Yes, they were available in a light khaki drill. I bought a pair from a Victorian country opp shop some years ago. They were almost identical but without the thigh pocket.
