Suit collar rolling up at the back

Apols if this has been covered before. Did a search and nothing turned up.

I turned down a very presentable 3B Armani suit at the goodwill yesterday ($30) because the collar at the back of the neck was rolling up revealing the lining underneath.

This is a pet hate of mine. I have had it occur on a few recycled suits and have never been able to reverse it.

What causes it and can it be cured?

Tomasso, this was a fun thread and a very do-able fix. We all have some of these in the closet and perhaps now they can come out again.
