$50 shipped- Vintage John Stetson Straw OR Stlye Fedora Sz 7 1/2 Classic CLEAN

AUCTION The previous one from the same sale was a 7 3/8. This one was padded w/ a Wendy's napkin to snug it up. Fits like a spot-on 7 1/2- w/o napkins. Too big for me. Note: Using clear waterproof tailor's liquid stitch, I arrested the beginnings of a pinch separation- barley seen, if you...

    Soften a brim?

101 Ranch has an interesting history. The last of the "wild west shows" it also had a dude ranch on the original property, obtained when it was still NDN territory. Welcome to TFL, Comer, glad you're here!

    Olney Hats

Really spot-on 5.25". A centre dent is needed to maximize the height, IMO. The relatively thin ribbon helps on that account too. Once I put some steam to it, I'll post some pix. So far, so good. I am considering one in sage. I like it. The brim is dimensional, btw 2 7/8" front & back & 2...

    Olney Hats

...yeah I have it on a #52 block & w/ a bit of steam, it'll be right as rain. These dopes sent it internationally in a flimsy, unreinforced box, as thin as tissue, absolutely unsuited to shipping next door, much less INTERNATIONALLY! Failure. Unprofessional in the extreme. 'arf 'arsed...

Do not procrastinate... Reduced by 5k! shakeshead I wrote the seller stating that for 20k I would need to see better photos and was responded to with the most vituperative, condescending & uncivil reply: i have seen your hats..imo...where do you find such hats?..i bet western...

    Hat sizing revisited

A stretcher is always a handy tool. Considering the many differences in manufactures sizing, varying rates of shrinkage in vintage lids, I'm often too lazy to go to the barber & a whole host of other reasons.
