That's a PIP!
Very Whippet. Reminds me of this Marathon I just got. Too bad it's not a 7 3/8 or I'd propose a trade, I have more than a few 7 1/4s waiting for a stretch. Best of luck. That's a keeper, IMO.
Me too, but
but I just got this oddball. I hope it is or can again be a 7 3/8...looks rather corduroy like, but upon inspection of the interior, maybe hbt.
I hope it will be good for springtime wear, definitely a mid century working class type lid. I like the gray and the fabric construction...
I've had one for years. Since the last time he offered it. You will enjoy it very much.
I preferred it to my Peter Bros Indy (Milan) Straw so much I got rid of it for lack of wear.
Recommended, both the Vendor & the model, without reservation. :thumb:
Agreed
It's wearing thin.
The lack of disclosure, the 'arf-arsed "reblocks" & the really, profoundly dreadful "ribbon/pin" combos are making me throw up in the back of my mouth, :puke: ...a little.
Enough already.
Borsalino ...by Bollman?
...is that right? Isn't this one of the ones made by Bollman back when they had a N. American license for the name & made 'em in S-M-L-XL?
That's my recollection, anyhow.
Nuts!
Follow-up: Arrived today but that ol' high desert must've had it's way with this one as it is no longer near 7 3/8. The interior circumference now measures (near as I can get) about 22 1/4" putting at more of a 7 1/8!
I have experienced shrinkage before- but seriously! The odd thing is...
Yet another Stetson 3x
I love these things, tough durable workingman's hats made to take a likin'.
This makes the second this week. I wish the embroidered liner was in this one as well, but I have a spare, unless this one is sewn in place.
Anyone know the cryptic meaning in this...
:offtopic:
Whoa...whatta story. Thanks.
Crazy Crackers & outlaw Swampers.
Just like E. Tennessee w/ swamps rather than mountains & gators instead of bear!
:focus:
Thank your stomach for me, eh? lol
Seriously, I am just north of Fifth & Gill a few blocks from Central Ave. in Knoxvegas.
If it doesn't work out, I'll give ya' a holla'. :thumb:
Second "gottagetit!" in 24 hrs.
Looks clean as a whistle & is described as " 2 3/4" brim...felt is very flexible, smooth, malleable and is easily re-shaped...spotless interior..."
Yee-HAW! :p
