Alan, that is a gorgeous Borsalino. Does the blue liner label give any indication of it's age? I have one (not in nearly in as nice condition ) with the same label and another with the label in white. Just curious. -

Need hat advice
Heads were about the same size that they are now. I think i read somewhere on this site that the most common head/hat sizes are closer to 7 1/2 . That means Lots of people looking for that size. Makes them harder to find and more bidders bidding on an auction site. If you are lucky to have... -

Thanks guys. I don't go to many estate sales... I think this was my second. I'm thinking I should probably go to a few more! The Mallory was in a 1970's era ladies hat box. I think the folks running the sale thought it was a ladies hat. Got it for $20. It shows no sign of ever being worn... -
