What really chaps me with those ads is the inability to close them. You can't go back or X out of them. You have to close the tab and start over. I can't imagine how it can be effective advertising. Whizzing off your target audience by highjacking their computer sure doesn't make me want to buy...
Yes. And most anything else. If you look on eBay you can buy old postcards by the thousands from businesses of every type. Another odd thing is the greetings from such and such town postcards. My little hometown must have really gone for it because there are numerous ones I have seen with pretty...
We don't have any real theaters left around here. They are all the multi screen deals that could easily be converted to warehouse space or somthing. High back seats with wide armrests and cupholders don't make up for the lack of anything desirable about the rest of the experience. The one in the...

I have seen this with my sisters. One especially has apparently deleted anything that doesn't fit with what she chooses to remember. I dunno, maybe it's a gift.
I have never made any secret of the fact that if I allowed myself to, I would spend most of my days in bars like this. Usually quiet, always cool, dry and dark. I haven't allowed it in many years, but regardless of the known hazards and flaws the desire is always there.
I wonder if this has always been a common thing or as the speed of information fired at us has increased these jumbled bits and pieces become more confused.
