!!!! Charles! Thank so much for the on air mention! What are some of the names of those Cuban 30's performers so I can track some down to own..?!
thanks again friend! CITR is my soundtrack here, if there was no Sweet & Hot, Caught in the Red and Shake a Tail Feather.. my days would be spent...
I hear that brutha! actually, that's to say I've heard that, in that I've heard you say that on the air before... HA!
Why oh why is this just a conversation between me and you?! where are the great unwashed masses who should be clammering to add their two cents about this wonderful radio...
Ziggurats and pyramids in 10,000 B.C.? Anyone know the concept for this movie?! Is this supposed to be a glimpse into the past in the mainstream science/history vein or some sort of conspiracy-ish theory involving Lemuria and Atlantis!?
Where would you say the line is between tribute and rip off though? We already live in a period of time that is so severely self aware that it's creatively paralyzed. Who needs an homage from a director that is perhaps 10 years past being a really interesting artist? I'd much prefer new and...
As a 27 year old born & bred New Yorker, I've always loved teddy boy culture as I've seen it, which is from afar. I love the style, I love the music, I love to jive. Anything further I haven't experienced and I hope the farther it reaches away from the original era perhaps this racist stigma...

they were cuffed, but they had to be lengthened as much as possible & even had a bit of extra material added to the inside. Can you tell..?!
thanks for the compliments guys! what do you think of the shirt? it's cheap & new!
do you think maybe some charcoal or even black pants might take the eye away from the difference of material between jacket/pants...? I have some high waisted probably 50's pants that aren't pegged that I thought might be able to mix well... :eusa_doh:
huh! I got them along with the jacket. Regardless of if I continue to wear them together or not, I really like their cut and how they fit me. The jacket has brown buttons so it throws me for a loop as I'm color blind and brown and green has always been something I stay away from in the past...
