What a great collection. It’s a blast from the past seeing the lead soldiers. My brother has our fathers complete set upwards of at least 50. The set even has little hand sewn sandbags so our father could build foxholes when playing war.

My son and I got some guy time after school today while Mom went shopping with the women from work. First stop was Tractor Supply Company, Bobby Richardson Park and then McDonald’s for ice cream.

It is a pretty easy dessert to make. Mix the cream cheese and cool whip along with oranges, bananas or any other fruit until it’s a custard like consistency. Cool in the refrigerator and garnish as desired.
