Dahling! Don't you know black goes with everything? ;)
I know what you mean though. If you think it's too severe you could always punch it up with some colorful accessories. Scarfs? Jewellry? The world is your oyster. :)
No cute outfit today. Very bad morning + no coffee = throw on the first thing in the closet that fits and ballet flats.
I'll try to have a better morning tomorrow. :)
I might have to wear them tomorrow... Might look odd with my purple dress, but maybe not. Not like anyone sees my feet behind my desk anyway... or I could wear something else lol We'll see. :)
I don't know about the chains, but I just have to say those glasses ROCK, Inky!
(and as it is a practicality thing, I would assume that someone had to have thought of an eyeglass chain before the ugly black cord-y ones!)
Yeah... spent nearly a grand yesterday, but totally worth it.
My daughter moved to a big girl bed yesterday. Mattress, box spring, frame, mattress cover, sheets, quilt set, and guard rail. Yay for already having the headboard!
She was so excited she couldn't go to sleep. Giggling and...

I wish I could get my hubby on this plan...
I spend nothing. Nada. Zero. Zilch. And when I do, its on my daughter, or if it's on me, I feel terribly guilty.
Hubby has a problem not saying no to whatever he wants, whether its a new TV (Boy, did I get angry about that one) or a quick run to the...
Ditto.
Annie,
Your post made me feel hopeful for all the young girls out there that want to break out of the mold society seems to impose upon them. As the mother of a girl, albeit a toddler, this is especially important to me. My hope is to raise her to be a mature young lady like...
