Had me a "are you from Texas" from the cashier while in the Chicken Salad Chick in PTC GA this morning. I said no ma'am, I'm originally from Mississippi and the hat was from Philadelphia, but it did spend one of its lives in Texas. My twice rebuilt 7x CB rides on..
Here's the sweat once I broke the hat Down. Tried to save the sweat, but the threads were dry rotted. when I tried to sew it back in, threads holding the leather to the backing would pop. It was very brittle. So, went with new sweat. Put the stickers back in, too.
7X CB rebuild.
Thanks to a new sweat that I procured from Bond ( 4th sweat From him I've used. Really great sweats!), I just completed my annual Holiday Hat rebuild. A nice old 7x CB ( with the stars in the crest). Dirty and the sweat threads dry rotted. I tried to sew the original sweat back...
Nice hat , Joao! Looks great! I travel to Memphis a lot for work. I'm going to have to plan an extra day sometime when Buckaroo is open to see the shop.

I was going to bid on that one, even though it is a little on the big side for me. But, when I logged on eBay with about 10 minutes left, this popped up. http://www.ebay.com/itm/111880992626?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

Always wanted a very light sand color fedora with a brown ribbon. Got this 3X beaver with 3-1/4" brim with a stain on the edge. Decided to turn it into my light sand fedora.
Thanks folks. It was an impromptu picture. We just got caught up in the grandeur of the setting and decided to strike a pose! She was a good sport about it!
