Well, that's sadly true in all of nature everywhere. I just watched this terrible show on communities of lions, cheetahs and hyenas and how they relate to each other during times of severe drought. Life is cutthroat everywhere with or without a metrocard!- mike

Yes I am, and all I can say is I come complete with a full beard and a manly roar :p In all seriousness, I assume it was genetic. I don't know of anyone else in my family that had a similar condition. She was my grandfather's cousin, so somewhat removed from me but the ladies in my family...- mike

I gave up my seat on a packed LIRR train about a month ago to an 80+ year old woman and had the entire car for the rest of the trip heave praise on me. It was too much praise actually, I think I learned my lesson ;) To add my two cents about various classes of people in NYC riding the...- mike
