Out with the old:
In with the older:
Sold (reluctantly) my 54 of these last 25 years to an old friend. The 41 is the new car for me! Its still in the US awaiting shipping arrangements.
Finally found my old pocket watch in a well overdue cleanup.
Looking back I can't believe I was 13 when I bought this.
Nothing special, but it served me well all though Uni. Lots of watches since...
Watches are a personal taste, but since you are asking, can I suggest you look at the Orient Bambino. It has a vintage feel although it may not be to your liking.
Not mine but an example...
A fantastic grouping. I love 'tank' watches. Wear them in good health!
Reminds me of the time I tried to sell a Bulova Director on eBay a few years back. I described it (wrongly) as a tank watch.
I got pinged because eBay claimed Cartier owned rights to the word 'tank' as applied to watches...
I remember getting my haircut in '67.
A few guys sitting around watching haircuts, the smell of brilliantine, and race results on the radio.
No wall art though, I'm sure I would have noticed.
I only have one pocket watch (nothing special) and should really think about something nice.
It never ceases to amaze me the difference in values between pocket watches and wrist watches.
Very nice pice Shangas. Is the fob from your alma mater?
Not too old, its a returned servicemans farm allotment from '46. Not a straight line in it, it seems :-(
Standing on 3/4 acre. All the other land is now my neighbours
