Dessert Boots aka Dee Bees, were very common down under in the 60's & 70's, but would denote you as a bit of a dag later years. They seem to be enjoying something of a comeback. They are a great cheap casual shoe

I prefer the silver dial over the black dial model, which I found hard to read due to reflection.
If ever a watch needed AR, the black dial model did.

In my youth it was common for men to smoke pipes. What I recall most was the rich and varied aromas, they were not unpleasant like the cigarette smoke of today.
I picked up a nice 39mm Cuervo Sobrinos watch on the 'bay recently for some $60 so large vintage are still out there.

There is a company in Japan making SunSurf reproductions. From the ones I have seen, the quality is very good.
Unfortunately Not cheap, and not sized to the plus sized gent.
Avanti shirts do some interesting patterns as well.
