    Cool (But Sold) eBay Stuff

Absolutely, I agree! Not only can you find examples of existing vintage pieces cut that way, but there's documented proof in films of how certain styles were worn. Obviously, things changed season by season and year by year, but even within that you could have alternate stylistic directions...

    Cool (But Sold) eBay Stuff

I spoke with the seller ahead of time. My one main concern would be if there was wear on the edge of the sleeves as I will need to bring them down. I'm told they look virtually unused! The skirt will be a bit short on me. But, I swear this is the exact cut that David Manners as Jonathan...

    Cool (But Sold) eBay Stuff

If I may be so bold.... darn-tootin' the single breasted did! :D Plus, I've got very interesting comparisons on cut I uncovered over the last week! I think this suit dates to approx. 1930/31 or is at least using the aesthetics of that year. Please refer David Manner's wardrobe in the last...

    SEEKING: High-waisted brown trousers

Was there ever a resolution to MK getting that sample suit from Bookster? Wasn't there talk about a FL-inspired suit at some point too? Does anyone have any Bookster garments that they can review? By the way, I love this Bookster swatch...

    What are you wearing today??

Sounds great! And I can say if you do go for this hat (or something similar) I'm sure you will love it! You can't find anything close to it on the market! If doing it again, I would think long and hard about possibly getting it in the silk finish... :eusa_doh:

    What are you wearing today??

Oh you're definitely asking the the wrong guy. I'm color blind! lol But I would assume that the aspect that limits the color range you can wear it with is actually the black ribbon rather than the color of the felt.

    What are you wearing today??

Silverbelly felt with a black ribbon! One day I have to send it back to Art to reattach the lining. I went to the see the Damned a few months ago and someone tried to grab it off of my head and the liner somewhat came loose in the process! When I do send it back, I'm thinking of possibly...

    What are you wearing today??

That was last year. Although I did a variation of the same road trip this year, but the Lovecraft part of the trip was cut short due to a downpour! :)

Sure! We traveled to HP Lovecraft's grave where we read one of his short stories aloud and left a tentacle on his tombstone :)
