"I always say 'Fantastic!', there ain't nothing wrong with me. Then they give me my injections, and I go right back to sleep..."
Sorry, but that made me think of a Highwaymen song. :)
I've watched several of his clinics and have the DVDs as well. Riding one was an incredible experience, but almost overwhelming. Everything he says, everything he points out that other riders were doing was valuable and worth remembering, but it's hard to watch everyone else and work your own...
Hey look, I got mentioned! :) I think my Buckaroo is technically grey, but I'll get a photo later.
Stringmaster, I love that hat. I had the opportunity to ride with Mr Brannaman earlier this year and one of his guys had a vaquero style hat I really liked. Someone here had ordered one from...
No pictures, but we're expecting a new dog soon. I always had German Shepherds as a kid, and when my last one passed a few years ago we were in the middle of some major life changes so it wasn't the right time to get another one. We agreed now that we're settled, when the right dog came along...
Just a typical year. Ha! Bonds are doing pretty well, one is still a shade looser than the other but I've gotten used to it. After wearing these, I really wouldn't want to go back to the short top and heel boots I had before. The soles are awful in snow, but the height keeps the worst of it out...
Morning folks, just checking in. I disappeared for a while, been busy. Long story short, one of the guys we let on our lease lost his mind. Just to get our cows off it and onto our feedlot we've had brand inspectors from two states and are on a first name basis with a couple of deputies. The...
Length is one reason I try and stick with Wranglers, I usually buy a 36 inseam but would buy a 38 if I could find it. While a bit long, the extra length just rests on top of my boots when walking but they fall much better when horseback. The extra length keeps them from getting pulled up.
We have a 1990 Chevy 2500 that has about 30,000 miles on it. It was bought and driven to the ranch in 1990, and I don't think it's been more than 10 miles away since then.
The '01 F-350 has 230k on it, the '97 F-250 has 184k.
I had a 10 day heartbreaking wrongful death of a 16 year old civil suit against a doctor, we heard closing arguments today and delivered a verdict later this afternoon.
My boots have been at the courthouse (with me attached) for the last couple of weeks. Got tagged for jury duty, getting tired of being downtown every day. Three flights of stairs and I try to walk a few blocks every day at lunch just to be able to get outside for a little bit.
The boots seem...
Jack, glad you're mending well. Sounds like a pretty rough fall.
Michael, great boots! They look almost exactly like mine, save the shorter heel. I think if I had it to do over I might've gone with the #3 like you did, but the 6 isn't a problem. Just think shorter might be better for working...
Seems like, quite unfortunately, we're hearing that said about Paul Bond fairly regularly.
It just seems noticeable to me when two different customers have similar issues (communication, things being done when we're told they were done) in a short period of time.
