    Show us your Guns!

These followed me home this morning. One's a 357 and the other a 44 magnum.

    Another one that's never been fired. A Ruger Blackhawk Convertible .32 H&R Mag - 32/20 Winchester with a 6 1/2 inch barrel.

This is a fun little plinker. My Colt Frontier Scout 22 mag with a 4 3/4 inch barrel.

    Old gas stations

Check out that Ford shop truck. Fender skirts and looks like air horns on top of the cab. It's probably got some kind of fancy add on hood ornament also. These were traveling bill boards back then. This photo looks to have been taken in the early 60's. There's a 1961 Chevy on the far right side...

That is a beautiful machine So33. Here's an ad photo of a 1938 Scout from a Popular Mechanics magazine.

    Cowboy Boots

I've got a pair of Rocketbusters. These are 23 years old. The fit is about the same as Justin boots. The leather is thick compared to cheaper boots and it takes a while to break them in. They are not the most comfortable boots I own and I wouldn't recommend them for everyday wear. But when you...

    Show us your Guns!

This is the other gun I just finished cleaning for the lady that also had the Smith & Wesson Airweight. This one is a Smith & Wesson SW40G. It doesn't appeal to me at all. Plastic, D/A only, with no safety pistols just don't make my bucket list.

All good points Basbol. Years back she could hold her ground against any man. Her late husband retired from the Marine Corps. and she was a nurse. But now she is a fragile little lady on oxygen all the time and lives alone. I don't know if there is a perfect self-defense weapon for her, but...

I think she's going to keep it close to her now. Someone broke into her daughter's home about a week ago and she actually gave me two guns to clean. One for her and one for her daughter.

    Show us your Guns!

I just finished cleaning this S&W model 37-2 Airweight for a lady I've known for 60 years. She said it had been in a drawer for the last nine years. It had something like varnish all over it and inside it and was completely locked down. Maybe she child proofed it sometime in the past. Lol. But...

So trivial, yet it really ticks you off.

I worked in the tire manufacturing business for 30 years and you can't keep a tire buried in a landfill. It will eventually rise to the surface.

Ha! Ha! Ha! There's more squirrels around here than there are people in China.

I've had this TriStar Viper 28 ga. for a few months now and it's about time to try it out on the next squirrel I see in the pecan trees out back.

Darn!! I've got new boots that don't look that good.

Thanks for that info Deacon. It must be something that bleeds out of them over time because it wasn't like that when I stored it. I hope it's a one time deal or that thing is going in the trash.

    Show us your Guns!

Taurus 44 magnum model 2-440081. I haven't had this one out in a while and that cheap BSA red dot site had something like tar all over it. I don't have a clue how that happened. I got that sticky mess all over my hands. I took it off and cleaned it with tire cleaner and a tooth brush. Seemed to...

That might have been Popcorn Sutton's moonshine still guarding gun Dave.
