I doubt I buy a bottle of that without trying it first. Basil's Dark Rye was a bit of a stretch, but I tried it at Trapper's Fish Camp in OKC before I bought it. Hi, I'm a great fan of Basil. The Dark Rye great also, but VERY different from the Straight Bourbon. The Straight Bourbon is smooth, the Dark Rye has a lot more flavor. Hi Actually dunking the hat on a monthly basis or better when you're wearing it is a VERY GOOD IDEA. Don't wear it for 3 years without wetting it. It cracks in to a few pieces when you sit on it if you don't keep it wet occasionally. Guess how I know that one? Later -
