The arm pit seam issues wouldn't have bothered me, but the front pocket thing would have driven me crazy, as well as the front wrinkles. In my opinion, they make the jacket unwearable.
I'm curious to hear where you bought the jacket from!
Congrats on the new jacket!
As far as posting pictures, I've had success with:

Every jacket is different, and I'd love to see pictures of yours. I'm debating on the Half Belt vs. the Long Half Belt. So a Half Belt with a few extra inches intrigues me.
I think it would be foolish to move anywhere without first having a job, at least with this economy. I know it was a particularly tough year for finding summer jobs right out of high school or for college kids.
With that said, there are certain growth industries in the state (the auto...
I paid a bit more than the median for this one, but it was totally worth it! It's in a great neighborhood with a strong neighborhood association.

It's definitely worth checking out if you're interested in the city!
I think Dawson's Creek had a similar issue, although I've never really followed the show other than the featured music. If I remember correctly, for re-reuns and DVDs, they actually used different music!
I've been enjoying posts on all the new Aero FQHH jackets that have been arriving recently, and I'm plotting my own purchase. I've already started a small collection of leather jackets, and I have a couple of questions for those of you with multiple jackets: How many do you have? How often do...
I'm constantly keeping an eye out for books from my childhood. Some are still being printed, like the Adventures of Frog and Toad. Others, like the tales of Jeanne-Marie are out of print and harder to find!
The artwork is some books it great, too, even for adults. My favorite is Eric Carle!
Thanks for posting this! It's always interesting to see what other people are doing. I'm working on my own fixer-upper, and I'm always struggling with maintaining the integrity of the house while staying within my budget.
I saw the movie first, then read the book, then bought the DVD.
So much of the sets, etc., were right on, but did anyone else notice modern-looking fluorescent lights in the school scene at the beginning? They paid so much detail to every other scene, I thought it was strange they couldn't...
Hotel Silver!
Ah-ha, I see other people are trying to find it, too! Martha Stewart's Catalog for Living had some nice reproductions available before they shut down. I've been searching eBay and elsewhere for a set of silver-plate cake stands. I can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking...
I'm so glad I stumbled upon this website... Full of people who love things from the Golden Era! The city of Detroit has such a rich history, it would be a shame to raze everything and start over (I'm still hoping and praying Michigan Central will be spared, even though there are plans to...
The best way I've found to avoid moth damage is to keep items sealed up so that the moths can't get to them. For sweaters, you can use those plastic vacuum bags, but a leather jacket needs to breathe... So that would be a problem. I've had good luck with hanging cloth bags with my suits...
Great jacket! I'm debating between the Bootlegger and the (regular) Half Belt for my first Aero Jacket. I'm looking forward to seeing how the Vintage HH looks worn out of the box. What are other users thoughts re: Vintage vs. Heavy HH?
