    I really like the look of the Shackleton vest but I don't see the value. It's about half the cost of a new Aero jacket, but it's only leather on the front. While I'm not skilled in using a sewing machine, making a vest seems as though it would be pretty easy. I would expect the cost to be lower.

    Help I think I ruined my Aero Premiere Half Belt

    I hate to write this as my heart would be broken if it were my jacket - but that jacket is ruined forever. The oil stains are never going to come out in any meaningful way and will show no matter how dark you stain it.

    I ordered an Aero Buco J-100 through Thurston Brothers. Since I had mine made with Badalassi (which is steerhide), I was told I couldn't get the Buco label. Guess it has to be horsehide for TB to use that label.

    Aero 1920s Work Coat Collar...

    I recall when that coat was introduced by Aero. I thought it would really be a top seller as similar-styled jackets are usually Japanese and are much more expensive. Doesn't seem to be a very popular model. Not sure why - I think it looks very nice.

    I'm 5'9, 170 lbs. 40-inch chest, 33 waist. I have size 38 LHB. Fits me very well, maybe a little tight through the torso. I could wear a sweater underneath.I think the issue for you is going to be that your waist isn't much smaller than your chest. You wouldn't come close to zipping up a size 38...
