How to properly clean and care for a 1950s greatcoat?
I have a British greatcoat from the 1950s too and I agree with Rabbit it's nearly indestructible and dry cleaning won't hurt it. Taking Proper Measurements On a Jacket
What about measuring chest (armpit to armpit) with an underarm gusset? These photos were sent to me by a seller. The first image is directly across the chest just below the gusset, the second image across the middle of the gusset. Which one makes more sense?
