I have an early Stetson Dakota that has "Moleskin" impressed in the sweat. Not really sure what it meant other than perhaps a finer finish. On some other brands that also use that term, it refers to a suede like finish.... on other matters I too have a couple of OR clones I should post here... -

WELL.................the hat arrived.....and as with so much Ebay stuff.....it WAS NOT MY SIZE:(:mad::(:mad:.....do not know how they managed to be so far off in their measurement but it was not one, but 2 (TWO) sizes too small. BUT, it is an awesome hat in a kind of heathered really dark, dark... -

Yes, this one has that same nice hand to the felt. I really like how it feels....very supple, not at all stiff. I really, really, really wish it fit me.........it is a fine hat. M- M Hatman
