What IS this? (Civil War Era)

Does anyone have information on what this may be? It was auctioned off with a bunch of Civil War items.

No, now that I think of it, I'd just ban them, just like that! That would be fun, too. :D So really, I think you 'd hate my forum that I don't have. My first rule in my fictional forum is that we all support our troops because we know that without them, we'd have no one protecting our freedom...

Why wouldn't that be constructive? I mean, if I was hosting a forum in my free spare time with no ads and not charging anyone, and there was a group of people that strongly disagreed with how I ran it, I would welcome their suggestions, but beyond that, I'd show them the door. I think that would...

But Bruno, what's to stop the other guy from flushing before you hang up? See? It's dreadful!

No, not a new thread, a new forum. Not the FL. An online forum where you can make your own rules, or have none, or whatever. There are certainly enough affordable web hosts with self-installing forum scripts so that it can be easily done.

    Pet Peeve

It's horrific. It's really bad if they're reading the paper in there, too. Save that for home, I say.

So, is there an elegant way to put air in your tires?

:eusa_doh: Why didn't I think of this before? I'm going to buy an electric inflator! http://www.blackanddecker.com/productguide/product-details.aspx?productid=15542&toolview=5#details It'll pay for itself in a year.

So, is there an elegant way to put air in your tires?

I do wear jeans. But unless I wear a turtleneck there are views to be had from passers by. There's more to it, but it's a dirty and awkward thing, so maybe I'll just stop being independent and have my man do it.

So, is there an elegant way to put air in your tires?

Oh my husband would be more than happy to put air in my tires, but he's not always with me when I notice they need air. It's also the kind of thing I like to do on my own, unless I'm at an actual full service station (which I'm on a mission to find now.)

Oh, the ding! ding! I recall hearing that when I was a kid. I'm going to find a full service station in my area, I will I will!
