Simple. You’re a tweener (the narrow space between two sizes). I am too. It’s a tough road. I think if you read here long enough you’ll learn custom is no guarantee. Between pattern choices and leathers and natural allowances for +- sizing in custom gear you may be no happier. Just look at all...- Bfd70

They are supposed to have some amount of heel slip. i suggest buying a cheap $100 pair and seeing if you like the style. If so then plunge down the rabbit hole. The $100 research is far less than money than you’ll be out if you buy a $700 pair and Then try to sell them off a month later.- Bfd70
