IMO most Aero's have oversized chest measurement for their tag size.
Both my Bootleggers have 24.5" p2p for a size 40, and my size 40 grizzly is 25.5" p2p. My 40 Cafe Racer is also 24" p2p.
In every other brand i own that measurement would be for a size 42 or 44.

In my experience breaking in many leather jackets including a few CXL one, this is a bad idea.
Leather does not really stretch, it will conform to your body, but you will not get significant stretch like you would with denim for example. When people say loosen up they mean going from card board...

I didn't know it was done either untill i saw "Gimme Danger" a couple years ago, there is an interview of Iggi where he wears a cafe racer with the folded collar like that.
Straight away i tried it, and to me it is more comfortable, i think a Cafe Racer collar is a pain especialy with a beard...
