It's interesting, i prefer shorter sleeves for the same reasons you prefer long ones.
To me sleeves that are long enough to reach first thumb knuckle will cover some of the palm and get in the way when i try to get my hand into things or trying to grab things, or doing any sort of work, a...
Sorry, all i was talking about was length, i personally couldn't deal with sleeves that long, but i know a lot of people in the US seem to like it that way.
To me it is a US vs Europe thing, i feel like people in the US like sleeves at the first knuckle of the thumb, and people in the EU prefer...
Been wearing my new Lee 101, trying to break it in before i post a review...
It's really a much nicer jacket than i was expecting it to be, leather is thick and spongy with a slight LW vibe going on, construction is very good, fit is very comfortable, i really have nothing bad to say about this...
IMO adding 1" would make the jacket fit more like what you see in this thread from @HoosierDaddy and @Colin G

Subjectively i find them a little bit too long ( not being critical of what you guys...
I wouldn't add to the sleeves, but i don't like long sleeves that rest on the wrist. Other people (like @HoosierDaddy) are fans of that and want to be able to do the zombie walk whilst having their wrists covered, there is no right or wrong.
To me 1" extra would be too long, so i wouldn't add...
I wouldn't change a thing.
Sleeve length is perfect, i like body length as it is but it could possibly do with 0.5" extra. (The back length is great, front is a bit short, i would not add more than 0.5 as i think 1" extra overall would be too long in the back)
It looks like the bottom straps are...
When using a bag i care about four things:
_How light is it?
_How waterproof is it?
_How Practical is it to use?
_Will it last?
Leather bags are nice, but not waterproof, not light and not practical to live with.
These two are basically what i use all the time, the Jaakari S day to day, the...
They look good, but they look like most Saddleback bags i have seen, unused because of their weight...
I wanted a waterbag for ages (bottom center one on the second pic), and then a friend bought the large backpack.
That thing is 6lb empty, by the time you add a few bits and bobs you are...
I almost posted that one when i saw your OP.
A couple months ago i almost bid on a Vanson like that and then decided i would never wear it.
I think i like the Buco a bit more because i assume it has a clean empty front.
In my experience sleeves will only "shorten" in wear if they are too long to start with.
If you are part of the long sleeve brigade and like sleeves that stack on your wrist you should expect some "shortening" as they develop a stack and basically settle in a pleated way.
If you wear your...
Gotta wonder if TFL is part of the "effeminate social media blog"?
"Many Sellers only parrot the misinformation gleaned by self-appointed "experts" on the effeminate social media blogs, chat rooms, sites, etc."
I have to say i agree with HH it looks a lot like a LW... (although i haven't seen one with chain pullers before i think.)
http://www.lostworldsinc.com/Leather_Motorcycle_Jacket_Trojan_Horsehide.htm
If it is LW expect the back to be 23" or something super short like that.
And yes, that is a...
Very nice, but that little Vanson fabric tag on the right bottom hem is pretty nasty...
It reminds me of Schott in the 90s when they would do stuff like that, not a fan, i hope it's not a new standard thing.
Get ready for pages of "too short"...
To me they fit fine, yes they could be 0.5 to 1" longer and it would be a little better, but they aren't short enough that it looks wrong.
I would 100% keep that jacket and wear it if it fit me that way.
I posted this in the find & deals yesterday, i think it might help:
Let's say you have a 40" chest exactly.
You can't wear a jacket that is 40" circumference as that would literally be skin tight.
Chest ease is added to account for that, usually between 4 and 6" on top of the true chest...
