Good evening. I received complimentary news about what myself and my fellow coach staff have acheived in results and been doing daily. Celebrating by sipping an Omni Brewing Pilsner during a walkabout while under the brim of a Gannon Playboy (inspired by the Stetson hat of said name). My...
Good morning. A morning walkaout around sunrise was under the brim of a grey hued Lee Adventurer.
Morning coffee under a light grey Lee Adventurer.
Grape jelly, humingbird syrup and seed for the bird feeders replenished wearing a Lawrence made by Brock.
Cheers this early...
Good morning. A morning walkabout in a Stetson Vogue.
I wore a Portis "The New Slant" for sipping coffee.
I watered some newly planted flowers. The Gannon gilled fedora protected my head from our "new" mosquitoes. This morning I remind myself that there are No mosquitoes in the cold...
Business took me away on Friday and I did not share my Stetson Whippet doing duties for a yard chore.
Yesterday afternoon I was comfy under a PHD Montecristi Fino Havana. The blocked shape of a Havana and a 2.5" brim work for me. Like many others if I could make a change I would ask for...
Yesterday I wore an unlined cap.
It was not unlined cap weather yesterday. The cap was sitting on a cap block waiting for me to steam and press the storage wrinkles out. I grabed it out of conveinence.
Cheers, Eric -
Good morning. I wore a Borsolino for a walkabout. The temps are 44'f (7'c) and I thought a "fuzzy" felted hat appropriate.
Morning coffee under the brim of a classic. A Mallory Classic to be specific.
Cheers this morning from my Minnesota neighborhood, Eric -
Thanks sir. Marathon did make some real quality hats in the day. I am reminded that I will have to look for some vintage advertising to see what this hat retailed for.
Thanks for the info Jack. Your advise is well heeded about the pencil roll. Since Michael is still waiting felt hoods I do have time. As to the sweat, I like the feel. Agreed, like you, I would not order it again.
Thanks.
Brent looks good.
Proportions is everything. For a short guy like me the hat would be an umbrella. I could see it being very practical with some mosquito netting over it. A tent over my head and torso for keeping the bugs at bay. Amusing to think about.
Cheers on the big brim. Eric -
Oh,la, la! I believe that I would open the Aberfeldy and then the Bunnahabhain. I imagine a terrific tasting session at your house. ;)
Congrats on your backstock!
Eric -
