I have been thinking of the Sahara Winchester felt this afternoon. Here is a pic of my 2015 VS fedora in sahara beaver. I see a much different hue than in the pics posted recently. My oldster sahara was a bit of tan or beige with a redish/yellow undertone.

Thanks sir.
The vintage pugs are often my fav patterns/colors and better materials than I have found on-line. (It may be that I am not looking in the right place as the internet is an enormous place.) I frequently say I enjoy the patina while in truth I just like the pug and I am "loyal" to...
Walkabout and morning coffee under the brim of a woven Pilgrim. A warmer and humid morning has me using a cotton handkerchief on the sweat and my forehead during my efforts this morning.

Gary some of my treated hats were created with a coat to the weave. In the modern Stetson case, each woven fiber is coated. When I am wearing other coated/treated woven hats this summer I will make sure I include a description of what I am handling.
The pic below showcases the coating and...
Welcome sir. Listen to the threads. Lots of sage wisdom on hats. As to acquiring hats - being alert and available is my advice.
Do share your PHD after it arrives. Cheers, Eric -
I finished the evening in a Ecuadorian Panama Hat Company Supernatural milan. It is a mouthful and a total worthy mouthful. A glorious milan!
A morning walkabout in the last of the passing rain showers. A coated hat sold at Peoples Clothing Co., IA.

I grilled some breakfast this morning sipping a Surley pilsner. Included in the collage are pics from Friday and Saturday. Guinness, Founders All Day IPA and Costa Rica pea berry coffee are also pictured.

My morning walkabout wad under the brim of a Stetson Buccaneer. The spiral brim treatment is a fun feature.
Ahhh, morning coffee wearing a "Light Weight Winner."
A car wash and then grilling breakfast wearing a VS panama.

Good morning. I enjoyed my walkabout wearing a Gannon Beachcomer. I started on my "Chore List."
Home after a couple chores and I enjoyed early morning coffee.
I started the grill for some breakfast and was sport'n a Gannon Wanderer with a sage accent in the ribbon.
I delivered a...
Thanks to all for posting your Gannon fedoras. I am watching, reading and taking inspiration.
Here are some Gannon's I wore the last weeks.
Cheers, Eric-
Terrific work. Your crease divining is at its peak, IMO. The deeper diamond with a rack is a fav crease of mine.
Wow. I like all the details.
Cheers, Eric -
