I NEVER listen to radio anymore. Ok, I listen to radio probably once a year; and that's on the rare occasion that I tune into Coast to Coast AM. The rest of the time, I never feel like listening to whatever songs are being played on the radio at the time, and then they cut to commercials for a...
The only tv I own is one of those with a built in DVD player. Because of that, the only thing I really use the tv for is to watch DVD's. I hardly ever watch television (one or two hours most per week if even that much). At times, my tv will sit off for weeks at a time.
I don't really...
Thanks, pgoat! Haven't heard from Gus yet, though I'm assuming it should be ready for payment and shipment within a day or so.
Yours looks really great and I'm really glad it fits well. That does help to ease my nerves just a little bit. I'm debating whether or not I'll leave the feathers...
Those are some of my favorites as well. Other good PC games that I have enjoyed include:
Lucas Arts: Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
The original Alone in the Dark by Infogrames
The Tex Murphy Series
The Zork Series including Return to Zork, Zork Nemesis, and Zork Grand Inquisitor...
If it's delivered today, you have got to get a picture up by this evening pgoat! lol
Seriously, after seeing the other's hats by Gus, I'm awaiting mine eagerly as well. Sort of with the same nervousness about the sizing, but we shall see.
It's not at all vintage, but I just have to say I am a fan of the Sue Grafton alphabet series. My investigator mentor suggested those to me probably four years ago, and I have been going through the released books off and on when I need a "Sue Grafton fix".
I'm also a big fan of Agatha...
That's the way I view it. The auction is still going, regardless of whether it has two hours left, or five seconds. It's not over till its over. I have won many things on the bay by sniping that way; but I have also lost several things as well to others.
I'm in your boat, pgoat! I just ordered one yesterday from Gus. Same price as you, and keeping my fingers crossed about the size. Gus did assure me however that given my circumference, and that I'm roughly a size 7 to 7 1/8, he could make it work. It's supposed to be done in a week or so, in...
I never knew these existed, but now that I do, I think they're really cool. I'm finding the whole idea of miniature fedora "gift certificates" very intriguing. Makes me want to get a few to decorate my desk or something; seems like they could be perfect for that.
I find this forum to be pretty straight-forward to use. Of course, I only visit two message boards regularly. I just log right in, and click on "Today's Posts", and scroll through for topics that interest me. I do this same process about 12,456,034 times a day...and all is right with the...
I like that. I've definitely had that thought towards a couple of my old watches, considering they've already lived a lot longer than I could probably expect to. Such vintage items go through so many hands throughout their existence.
I wouldn't consider myself to have an addiction to chocolate, however I do like it on occasion. I decided now would be an appropriate time to post in this thread, seeing as how I'm having a piece of chocolate cake right now.
Chocolate is good! :D
