Having to title them as a homebuilt is definitely one of the things I'd heard about. Actually, part of me was thinking it would be cool to build a Dnepr with a Goldwing engine and transmission. I don't think my father's father really wore fedoras before or after the war - but he wore his Air Force service cap routinely, so perhaps he didn't particularly want to wear headgear when not required to.
