Slightly slimmer would be fine. Just warning against going too slim.
With the current weak yen, the Sugar Cane 1947 is a great value. TCB is fantastic as well.
I like and own Oni too but SC is my go to.
The jeans bring it together; slim jeans make you look like a holdover from 2010 hipsterism. Straight legs are both 'in' and actually suit workwear/leather jackets/etc with perhaps the sole exception of certain 70s styles.
Incidentally, are these Canes, OP?
I wouldn't be annoyed with them for moving past the initial 100 item plan. I think the current fixation on "limited editions" across various hobbies and crafts like this is quite frustrating.
Legendary has nearly 50k social media followers and a very active fanbase. I think TFLers are a...
I think you’re right. The TFL cancellations happened before they even sent out the initial email invite to preorder.
Since that they sent regular emails about X number left but have kept it on for sale now weeks after supposedly finishing out the 100 order.
I was going to but decided to get the one without a wallet flap, because I got an Eastman wallet earlier that year and I've been using it since. Before that, though, I'd been using phone wallets for almost a decade so it was a change for sure.
Pretty much. They do look cool but racing shirts are probably the least versatile leather jackets in existence.
Among the ones you listed, yes, but not the only one. You might also like the Plainsman and Speedway, among others.
I got it from Nomad. You just missed a big sale they had, actually!
The best part is that these are actually extremely protective cases, not purely aesthetic ones.
Many "natural veg tan" jackets I've seen end up looking like this–the meaty colour looks quite disturbing to me. I wonder if there are some leathers less prone to it than others. For instance I think natural CXL basically looks fine.
At the same time I've liked it in some accessories. I regret...
As these swatches go, they felt pretty similar to comp weight, maybe a hair thinner. (Can't speak to these swatches, but I mean the ones Vanson sent me a few months ago.)
Whisky caught my eye most but I'm thinking Brandy with some good wear on it might get me that and more.
Bill Kelso’s shop? Do you mean the logistics office?
It’s in Milton Keynes, which is a day trip and absolutely not worth it whether or not they have a showroom (which I’m not sure they do).
If you’re really keen to doing a shopping day trip, I’d recommend Northampton to visit the shoe factories.
