It's a common thing to do in Asia, if you look at the blue sign in the first picture he is most likely over there. (it looks like japanese to me but i am not sure)
Here is the review of my LW:
https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/lost-worlds-j-23-review-evo.98274/
I have quite a few jackets from different makers and LW has shot straight to number 1 for me.
IMO they are the some of the best jackets available, the only non japanese maker to offer...
Maybe i have just been unlucky in the past few years, but to me vintage jackets with these measurements "Arms 26.5, back 26.5, shoulders 20, chest 22" are basically unobtainium. (these are the exact nubers i try to look for...)
Usually you will find 25" sleeves and 24-25" backs.
A second problem...
I have never seen a jacket with these toggles, i really like it!

Mine was a bag at the waist so i had it tailored, it still doesn't fit amazingly well.
Thing is you are only wearing a shirt in these pictures. I think in a shirt you could probably squeeze into a 44, but beeing in alaska you might want to fit a thick jumper under it.
That's how you end up like...
Honestly that's a pretty good fit for a 141. It looks good.
The sleeves are a little longer than i would want them too on you, but not enough to look bad.
For a first leather jacket i think you definitely did well. My first jacket (a Schott 644) didn't fit me as well as that!
It seems you and @Fifty150 and using "duty belt" and "Sam Brown belt" as if they were the same thing, they are not...
This is a "sam Browne" belt, the "Sam Browne" refers to the extra strap that goes across the chest, IMO there is no way to wear this that isn't weird (unless part of a real...
He wore it with only a duty belt, which IMO is still ok and can be a functional thing to keep the jacket tight.
If you go full Sam Brown belt with a leather jacket you are really sending a different message...
It's just a D pocket, it doesn't have a pocket back, it's just an extra layer of leather stitched on.
Things you put in it are in between the jacket shell and the extra pocket layer.
D pockets are mostly only accessible with your right hand, not the left.
Some jackets like the Aero Daytona have...
I think the position is a little bit weird isn't it?
It almost looks like they tried to match the position of the D pocket zipper with the position of the other sides's handwarmer.
To me it is too far out on the outside and too straight. I would have wanted it closer to the main zipper and at a...
Thanks for the detailed answer above.
Regarding fetish, i don't know if we have many people from the Bluf community here.
Personally i get nothing sexual from leather, i just enjoy collecting and i think the police jackets look cool, but i would never try to dress like a cop. I don't actually...
Dude, don't forget about the back!
Like i said, i'm not sure which detail i prefer, the carry straps, the luggage name tag holder on the chest, or the toiletry kit pouch attached to the back.
This really is the ultimate travel leather jacket!
Edit: i just noticed that the two pouches...
Pics?
As a bit of a CHP jacket fan I would love to see what a 15 year old daily worn jacket looks like!
Also, are you forced to use what is issued to you? Or could you decide to buy your own and wear a Cal, or any other CHP model as long as it follows your specific departements guidlines?
For that money you could look like a handbag, it's a tough call...
