Red Wings such as these & Iorn Rangers typically run true to size. I am ~ 11.5 -12 and RW's I am right at 11.5. If that helps.
Nice boots Danny - wish they were a bit larger. heck of a price for these!
Bob Villa says it best: (think of Graphite here) https://www.bobvila.com/articles/how-to-fix-a-stuck-zipper/#:~:text=Like graphite, bar soap can,tug until it comes loose.
I would add: tug "very gently" on these #5 zippers so you avoid what I had happen in real life about a year...
Welcome first of all. Regarding this Wrangler, it's a rather unusual style for a "trucker" jacket, however I see little reason to question it's authenticity. Most were and still are button up. Perhaps the zipper was replaced at some point, normal especially for a work jacket such as these...
^^ This is what I was thinking too - Is there a little bit of "fur" inside each sleeve "cuff" area? Actually, does the Main zipper speak more of a 50's Talon?
Don't share where the thrift shop is, or it will get a sudden influx of very intersted customers. Looks like you got quite a jacket there.
Perfect!! Looks so very nice there, I really like the simpler design of yours. If I were to do my Ridley again, i would likely have omitted the belt and belt loops.
Also - as always great work with the photography! Background works perfectly for those shots.
JL's offerings typically do not include much for width adjustments.
Try giving these a look (Made to order): https://nicksboots.com/shop/lighter-duty-work-boots/
^^ I also have "slightly narrow" feet. an 11.5C or maybe 11.5B in some lasts is nearly ideal. So I have a pair of 11.5D JL Engineers, with a standard sock and a Wool sock paired up, they fit nearly perfect. Might give it a try?
58 Panhead & El Marrio -- Yes I need to learn to ask a few more questions first, then buy later. However in my case weightlifting over the past year has changed my upper body by a decent bit, and I also forgot to factor the Sheene's taper in with this latest one. A "44" that was ordered...
Catch and release here from another FL member's Sheene. Just too tight of fit on me. Recieved today, for sale today. Has one inside pocket with no closure, "V" yoke on back, zip sleeves, nickle Talon hardware, Olive drill stiching, was sourced through Thurston brothers as a stock jacket...
And where we have another example of a Sausage casing for a jacket. Flannel shirt over T-shirt and it's just not working shoulders & Pit to Pit as well as Arms are too tight. Torso is a bit short too. So this "42" Sheene will be right back in the classifieds today. Darn shame as the brown...
So this is NOT a Jacket - it's a Pair of John Lofgren Chukka Boots - size 8.5 - likely to go up a lot but only $95 so far....
