What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

Beautiful hat, as always. You've inspired me to wear my 20 clone today. Your camera always brings out the richest colors in your photos. Very deep and lush saturation. Great shot. :thumb:

    Falcon Park Hattery

Parker's sewing machine locked up last week while finishing my hat. He was able to get it serviced quickly, though, so I guess it will ship out on Monday. I'm not even stressed about it, for some reason. I guess I'm more comfortable knowing that the hat is complete and getting ready to ship...

Nice pick. I like the wide brim. I don't see many wide brim Milans.

How Many Fedoras did you see today?

I saw two today. A young girl in a straw and I would guess a cloth fedora on a guy. I mainly see the cheaper fedoras that you can get at Target. But hey, that's where I used to get my "starters". The obsession for fur felt hats started after I joined The Fedora Lounge. I live in Atlanta...

    Milan Mania

Glad you like the hat, Mike. I don't have much green or yellow in my wardrobe, so it was hard to match that with the right clothes. I replaced it with another Milan. I've already posted in the Cavanagh Club, so I will post it here as well.

You're welcome, Mike! It looks better on your head than it did mine. :) The proportions look nice. I like the photo-bomb your dog dropped!

    The Cavanagh Club

Cavanagh Rogue Milan This is a terrific example of fine Milan craftsmanship from Cavanagh Hats. I picked this up from Robert, and I am grateful for a such a fine hat; my first Cavanagh! It still has the original factory tag for style, color, and size confirmation. Lots of great info...

    Reducing Size

When you reduce a Long Oval or XLO to a standard oval in any given size, will it throw off the proportions of the brim? Or is it simply adjusting the crown opening?

Is this a good price for a Resistol on the Bay?

Let me add.. I saw a dark green Resistol Kitten Finish beaver fedora at a local antique market. It was 7 1/2 so it was too big for me. I was tempted to buy it at $40 as an investment to clean it up and sell it for more. The felt was really nice, but it needed a new sweatband and a new liner. I...
