I always reuse my grocery bags....to pick up my doggie's doo in the back yard.:D
I find old stereo speakers make nice little stands of some sort to set little antique trinkets on. My local Goodwill is full of them...nobody wants them anymore. I also have some that actually get used as...
This 1940 Cadillac limo/hearse was awaiting the casket of some lucky guy during a funeral service at a Presbyterian church a couple of addresses from me. It was one of the most beautiful vintage autos I have ever seen.

Early this morning (couldn't sleep again) I was a bit surprised at what was on TCM. A couple of those early 70s blaxploitation films staring Pam Grier...Coffy and Foxy Brown....both had quite a bit of sex and nudity. I'm sort of fascinated by this film genre...how the black community was...
I own most of the films created by French director Jean-Pierre Jeunet (City of Lost Children)...except Alien 3...
I've watched subtitled foreign films since early in high school when the local public tv station showed Fellini and Kurosawa films on Saturday nights. If there is any foreign film...

I will subcribe to my local paper as long as they continue to publish that way. It's enjoyable to sit on the couch with a cup of coffee and my dog curled up next to me and read it. With my subscription I also get the online edition...which is the complete paper rather than the abbreviated...
Anyone seen 'Next Stop Wonderland?' Anything with Hope Davis and Philip Seymour Hoffman is fine in my book. Filmed in Boston...can any of you Bostonians tell me how the place got the name Wonderland?
Before bequeathing my massive vintage necktie collection to anyone I'll have to spend some time deciding which one I want to be buried in...and if I tried on a different one everyday to see which one it would be it would take me about four years!
