I think they also do made to order boots as well.
Basically they look like a tall english riding boot or a Regent or Chester long riding boot...
Oh I will be sure of that. Right now I can't wait to get my J. Peterman jacket back from the tailors. I went in for a final fitting the other day to get the shape the way I wanted. They're a lovely Austrian couple that have been doing this for about 60 years. I'll post shots of that too...
Oops!:o Sorry about that. I just figured that since it wasn't part of a complete suit it fit within the other section. Anyway, thank you I just hope that it at least fits well. And yes I do recall your fondness for Harris Tweed.:)
Cheers!

I've used the Mach 3 for ages, but when I got the Fusion in the mail a few months ago it busted my coarse beard like a hot knife through butter. I use the Body Shops shaving soap & I get a very slick shave. What I would like to find is the fancy blade holders at a reasonable price. There are...
Well folks here is my latest acquisition from OFAS. A Harris Tweed Herringbone blazer. It appears to be from Palm Beach and is skeleton lined or at least partially lined.

Well Douglas you sure are a lucky fellow when you hunt down some of theses great hats you shocase.
I've found several hats out there that are the white captains cruiser cap but they are usually of cheap construction and have that cheap shiny bill and the life preserver or anchors sewn on the...
Douglas, that looks great! Where did you ever find that Prinz Heinrich? I've been trying to find one for ages and have come up snake eyes on that hunt. The only one I've see on line is a very nasty looking used one on e-bay.
Cheers!

It's rather fun in a campy way. Some nice action, cliffhangers & visuals for the eyecandy. Easy entertainment of the serial hero films ilk. So, I'd say that I enjoy it when I watch it, just like The Shadow.
Cheers!

Those are some great looking lids you have there Douglas! Wow! I dig on the Delux made by Marc. the swoop in the brim has a classic 1930's European look. If I remember correctly you posted some other shots of that hat a while back. Do you still have any of those? The original thread is void of...
Now that is a nice cap. I've been looking for something like the one worn by Captain Englehorn in King Kong. It looks simila to the Kreigsmarine U-Boat cap except without the scrambled eggs and insignia. They're rather hard to find though in this plain configuration without the golssy bill...
Land Surveyor. A fedora or a panama is a perfect shade fro the neck & head out in the field. I usually wear my Camtown out in the field since it provides plenty of protection and in the winter it keeps the head nice and warm.
Cheers!
