    Bought this mandolin at a garage sale for $5. It is really beat. There were some loose, rusty strings on it and the bridge was inside it. I put on some new strings and am slowly tightening them. The mandolin is a Washburn model 1923-24. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

    I always start with a center dent in the crown first. I put the hat on, then put a toothpick behind the ribbon, right in front, in line with my nose. That helps me to get the center dent straight. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
