I wouldn't blowdry it, you won't get the right effect. Instead, take the side section of hair and wet set in 3 or 4 horizontally placed rollers, and comb it into shape in the morning.
I've tried to make this as foolproof as possible. Hairdressing is just like carpentry: measure twice, cut once!

Cold wax is a little better for sensitive skin, but don't be fooled! You can become red and irritated from any wax. Cold wax is basically like electrical tape - No temperature, but very sticky. In my experience, hot wax works much better.
