Cool Vintage Knock-Around Sponge Bob Square Pocket Patina Queen size 40. Some crispy areas in the upper shoulders..... looks like it COULD be managed perhaps...
This size 36 Taubers CZ was listed a while ago. It claims to be a woman's jacket but it looks to be a small men's model. $150 is ridiculous for this jacket. Not sure if seller will ship...
This is a rather sassy and even saucy design for a Schott. I like it and would have bought it were it a bit larger. Condition is good too. It's been listed for awhile now. Maybe its TOO SAUCY for some. I say, BE BOLD!!!!! Lol
If only it were also a 6 panel back as others have mentioned. Would be a Super Grail piece!!! I have funneled 2 small versions of these padded Cal CRs to a buddy of mine who is quite petite. One of them he got for the opening bid of $100 and it's MINT--never worn. I don't ride so I have no...
The more I look at it I do not see clear evidence that it was stitched creating darts. I think the Storage Folds theory is spot on! Glad its also too small for me or I would be kicking myself some for not being in on it.
You may well be correct! They are odd even as folds due to storage. Maybe it was folded up at some point?? A few of us have believed they were sewn at the upper points. Perhaps not. This appears to have been a custom build for a slender person. The length measurements with a 20-21” p2p are...
The rear of the jacket had some tailoring done where the leather was gathered in and stitched similar to the "darts" on a woman's jacket in the chest area. Only these were on the back of the jacket. They appeared to be not professionally done.
I figured it was likely a padded Cal CR. Not sure if this was ever confirmed though.
The back darts are just weird. I agree that they very much ruined the jacket. I am also surprised at the bidding on this one. I asked how the P2P measurement was taken and gave a brief yet detailed...
The back on this one apparently underwent some DIY tailoring. It has these odd darts sewn into the back. Seller didn't want to provide much insight into his measurements so I could not bid on this.
My thing is this: If international shipping is not offered, IT NEVER HURTS TO ASK.
When I list items for sale, I try to include shipping to the CONUS in my price. This is really only because in most cases, I can ship with USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail to anywhere in the CONUS for a known...
Hey G, you are correct sir!!! I went back and remeasured fully stretched and the sleeves are 25" after all measured straight down from shoulder seam to cuff end.. There has been no alteration to the sleeves. I can re-measure any of the measurements if they don't seem correct. I double...
Like the Bay Area of CA, and the Massachusetts makers. it appears this is a familiar theme of regional similarities that seem to be more than coincidental to be sure. Are certain styles just commonplace in the industry?? Are makers shamelessly copying styles?? Are there offshoot makers that...
