Both I have owned for many years and never wear. From smoke & Pet free home. Were Dry...
I had one Shinki - leather jacket that was a Diamond Dave one, and it had essentially no smell at all. It was secondhand. Some folks have indicated very heavy smell from CXL leathers, which I like. But having only had one Shinki jacket I am not the best source.
^^ so nice! But 24.5" sleeves and 20" waist? Also 22" back length apparently so quite short...
Note the taper on the back of this jacket...(Granted the laces are pulled tight here)
^^ not so much the weight, (probably ony a few ounces of material per boot) but more the feel of the boot, toe shape, stiffness (of course) and "coldness" of the toe itself.
My work requires Metatarsil boots in our plant. That takes steel toe up a large notch and is very protective, however my...
Ok, so this is helping to clarify something I have taken notice of the past couple of years here in the Midwest US.
This all began by noticing a complete "absence" of vintage leather jackets in Goodwills, Salvation Army stores, etc. Seems they were just "gone."
Then I noticed quite a of few of...

Also a fan of your pup! :)

Will do $140 shipped CONUS for FL (Pay...
Perfect! Tony excellent job (and Alan - especially to you and your staff - amazing piece of work here!!) and may this jacket grow old with you! It's a lifer indeed.... :)
I also like the Cordo/black combination with brass hardware, CHP style elements, laced sides, and leather lined front...
Yep - it does not take a large amount of space to build leather jackets, especially a 2-4 person operation.
Sure looks crowded in there, and I wonder if it's up to codes for electrical and fire safety, etc? Then again it's quite similar to most cobbler shops I have visited.
Sizing of these is indeed tricky, as most are off the rack and the JL's run a tad wider than the Wesco Mr. Lou's. Wesco will make you a pair to size - but best to call them or Baker's boots direclty and describe your sizing with them. Thier website shows the Mr Lou's only as Stock boots, just...
So I had the "MP" toes on a pair of Wesco Boss 7500's a couple years back that I purchased as 12D's. They would not fit my feet at all correctly. I run "11.5C" on a Brannock device. My Left foot is slightly longer than my right, which is typical for a Right handed individual. What I found...
