Thanks Stefan. Sadly it didn't work that way and I was riding my bike in the pouring rain. Fortunately I had switched to my Filson Shelter Cloth hat and it kept my head dry.
That is a pretty cool pug. That hat is the first of the two Hopoka straws that I found.
Great hats and outfits as...

Dang, you mean now I'm going to have to find a frock coat to wear them? Ha ha. I was surprised by the lack of waist adjustment, too. And they are cut very trim in the waist for the size of the seat. I was amazed to find them in the thrift store, and with the sharp creases still in them...
Long time, no internet connection. Stetson 3X for a rainy morning.

I really like that hat Red.
Thanks Red. I switched over to my boater for the bike ride and while I was in my favorite thrift the lady stocking a rack looked at me and said "You're wearing the suit" Then she asked if I got it there last week and told me about hanging the jacket out a couple of...
They aren't repros. I agree they have an Edwardian feel or even Victorian. All I can find on the department store Sigrand are some catalog scans from the 20s thru the 30s. And I'm not sure they are the same as Sigrand & Cie. I have no experience dating clothes this old. Another idea I've...
A lovely morning here, but a thunderstorm is fast approaching. Under the Melvin

Thanks Edward. Fedoras go with everything don't they?
Nice collection Bowen. Unfortunately I passed on what was probably my only chance to buy a mint topper that fit me like a custom. Just couldn't talk myself into it. Oh well.
Thanks all,
Michael

My question, the age? A few points: no belt loops, exterior suspender buttons, hand felling, apparently made in France for Sigrand & Cie, narrow legs, 15" at hem, long button fly.

Thanks Red. That shirt is hilarious, isn't it? It is a home sewn number that I picked up awhile back. Did seem the right shirt for the hat this morning.
Thanks,
Michael
Thanks Met. A cooler than expected morning let me wear the Schott again for my morning cuppa coffee in the yard.

You and your Mom are looking great Charlie. And looking to be having a grand old time too.
Thanks
Looking Sharp, Red. I think being a tv star must be agreeing with you.
Thanks Bill. I will say that it is well ventilated. You've been bringing the A game lately.
Michael
